Through this, we will guide you toward the most effective ways of managing your condition—whether it’s managing your weight and symptoms, regulating your cycles, getting pregnant, or planning for the future.

What happens after you book

After completing your booking, you will receive a link for appointment scheduling and a brief fertility questionnaire.

The process will then be as follows:

Step 01: Visit the centre for your test at your chosen time slot.
Step 02: Receive your test report within 5 working days.
Step 03: Discuss your results with our doctor over a consultation.

PCOS is a condition that can cause irregular periods, weight gain, acne, and other symptoms of hormonal imbalance, along with fertility challenges. While birth control is often prescribed as a first-line treatment—and can provide relief—it may only temporarily address symptoms, leaving the underlying causes unaddressed. Quick diagnoses can sometimes miss the unique factors contributing to each woman’s experience with PCOS. This screening focuses on key underlying drivers to help identify ways to improve your symptoms.

• Testosterone and DHEAS: These male hormones are commonly elevated in PCOS and contribute to symptoms like acne, hair thinning, or excess facial hair. Even if testosterone levels appear normal, DHEAS may still be elevated, particularly in women who do not experience noticeable weight gain.

• Insulin Resistance: Insulin resistance is a key part of PCOS that can lead to weight gain, increase the risk of diabetes, and worsen hormone imbalances. It creates a cycle with testosterone—high testosterone makes insulin resistance worse, and insulin resistance then raises testosterone levels. This cycle can make PCOS symptoms more severe and harder to manage over time.

Note: Depending on your test results, this screening may be followed by additional investigations.

Preparation for Test‍

• No food and drinks (except plain water) for at least 8 hours before your test.
• Can be tested on any day of your menstrual cycle.‍

Kindly note that appointments for purchased health services online must be scheduled and fulfilled within three (3) months from the date of purchase. Failure to schedule or complete the appointment within this timeframe may result in forfeiture of the service without eligibility for a refund. Cancellation Policy

We do not accept any cancellations / refunds except in the following scenarios:

• The patient is medically unable to complete the service.    
• System errors resulting in duplicated orders or order errors.    
• Taylor is unable to provide the service purchased.        
• Any cancellation request must be made within 7 days from the date of purchase and at least 3 days prior to the appointment date.    
• Except in special cases, there would be no cancellations / refunds as long as the service has started.
• Please note that Taylor does not allow for any cancellations due to change of mind. We seek your understanding for this.
