‍After completing your booking, you will receive a link for appointment scheduling and a brief health questionnaire. The process is as follows:

Gonorrhoea and chlamydia are two of the most common sexually transmitted infections (STIs), with Chlamydia being the most reported STI. Many people don’t realise they have them, because symptoms can be mild or completely absent. Left untreated, these infections can spread into the reproductive organs and cause pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). This is a serious condition that can lead to chronic pelvic pain, blocked fallopian tubes and even infertility.

This test uses a quick vaginal swab to check specifically for gonorrhoea and chlamydia. It is done through PCR (polymerase chain reaction) testing, a highly sensitive method that can detect even tiny amounts of bacterial DNA. This gives you clarity, accuracy and peace of mind.

Who is this test for?

This test is recommended for anyone who is sexually active, especially if you:

• Are under 25 years old.
• Have new or multiple sexual partners.
• Have a partner with an STI, or a history of STIs yourself.
• Experience symptoms such as unusual discharge, pain when passing urine, pelvic pain, or bleeding between periods.
  

Because gonorrhoea and chlamydia often cause few or no symptoms, this test is also useful for people who simply want peace of mind as part of routine sexual health screening.

How is the test done?

This check will be conducted with complete privacy. You'll need to undress from the waist down. Our female doctor will gently collect a small sample of cells from your vagina using a soft swab stick. The entire process will be quick and easy, taking just a few minutes.

Preparation for Test

‍No special preparation required. You can do this test at any time in your cycle, even during your period.

Kindly note that appointments for purchased health services online must be scheduled and fulfilled within three (3) months from the date of purchase. Failure to schedule or complete the appointment within this timeframe may result in forfeiture of the service without eligibility for a refund. Taylor reserves the right to update the information or fees associated with this service without prior notice.

Cancellation Policy

We do not accept any cancellations / refunds except in the following scenarios:

• The patient is medically unable to complete the service    
• System errors resulting in duplicated orders or order errors    
• Taylor is unable to provide the service purchased        
• Any cancellation request must be made within 7 days from the date of purchase and at least 3 days prior to the appointment date.    
• Except in special cases, there would be no cancellations / refunds as long as the service has started
• Please note that Taylor does not allow for any cancellations due to change of mind. We seek your understanding for this.
