Consider this scan if you've been experiencing period irregularities, such as cramps, or heavier or lighter flows than usual. It's also a valuable step if you're trying to conceive and haven't had an ultrasound assessment before.

After completing your booking, you will receive a link for appointment scheduling and a brief fertility questionnaire.
This pelvic ultrasound includes a trans-abdominal and/or trans-vaginal scan to take a closer look at your uterus and ovaries. We’ll check for fibroids or cysts, as these can sometimes affect implantation or cause heavier periods. We can also look at your uterine lining, antral follicle count, and signs of ovulation—feel free to reach out to chat with us about these details.
The trans-vaginal scan uses a thin probe that’s gently inserted through the cervix to capture clear images. Most people find this comfortable, but if you have any conditions like vaginismus that make intercourse painful, please let us know. We’re here to support you and will do everything to make you feel at ease.
To help us get the clearest images during your ultrasound, please try to drink at least 4 cups of water before your appointment and hold your bladder. We know this can be a bit uncomfortable, but it really makes a big difference in getting the best view.
