What is the Holistic Midlife Screening about?

This screening is for women who’ve reached menopause and want to stay on top of their long-term health. Estrogen protects many parts of the body—not just your reproductive system. When it drops after menopause, it can affect your heart, brain, and bones. This screening looks at important health markers that show how your body is adjusting, so you can take early steps to stay well.

Apolipoprotein A & B, and hsCRP – These markers help assess your heart health. Estrogen helps protect the heart, so changes in these levels can show if your heart is under more strain after menopause.

Vitamin D – After menopause, it becomes even more important to ensure your Vitamin D levels are sufficient, as estrogen loss affects how your body handles calcium. Low Vitamin D is common in older women and can make it harder to maintain strong, healthy bones.

Vitamin B12 & Folate – These nutrients are crucial for nerve health, mood stability, memory, and red blood cell production. During menopause, symptoms like fatigue, low mood, and brain fog can become more common — and low B12 or folate can worsen them. Levels can drop due to reduced absorption with age, certain medications, or dietary patterns (e.g. vegetarian/vegan diets).

Ferritin – Ferritin measures your iron stores. Even post-menopause, low ferritin can cause persistent fatigue and poor concentration, especially if you had heavy periods before. On the other hand, high ferritin may point to chronic inflammation or metabolic issues, which can increase with age.

Failure to schedule or complete the appointment within this timeframe may result in forfeiture of the service without eligibility for a refund. Cancellation Policy

We do not accept any cancellations / refunds except in the following scenarios:

• The patient is medically unable to complete the service    
• System errors resulting in duplicated orders or order errors    
• Taylor is unable to provide the service purchased        
• Any cancellation request must be made within 7 days from the date of purchase and at least 3 days prior to the appointment date.    
• Except in special cases, there would be no cancellations / refunds as long as the service has started
• Please note that Taylor does not allow for any cancellations due to change of mind. We seek your understanding for this.
